Have you ever wanted to write a book? Has there been a story living in your heart for a long time that you just can’t forget about?

Have you picked up one novel that totally excited you, just to be disappointed there weren’t more of them?

Yeah….us too!

And if you’re like us, the love and urge to write a book just won't leave. The thought of holding a finished book : YOUR finished book in your hands, is so exhilarating!

Imagine that!

Rose and I have written stories since we were young. I personally kept some of mine. I wrote a full length novel when I was thirteen, that is still kept on a binder on my shelf. I never published it. Maybe I will some day.

Rose has written stories of all sorts. Many still live in her heart and home. As she will say, “writing is her first love.” Even if it is for personal enjoyment alone, she will write!

Over 10 years ago, a story idea was conceived in my mind and heart. I plotted, replotted, and even tried “pansing” it. I had given up, deciding I probably wasn’t cut out to write it.

Yet, the longing never left me.

The urge continued to assail me, and I would get really passionate about it, until I hit a mental roadblock and decided, “This just isn’t how I see it in my mind! I can’t write this.”

So, I would leave it.

But again; the urge never left.

And then one day, it finally began to dawn on me. Is this something I am meant to do? To jump in with both feet and figure out? To bring glory to God in the process of providing clean fiction for young adults out there, who are lacking in clean, wholesome, inspiring, and challenging things to read?

I believe it is!

I know of so many teenagers being raised in Godly homes who love to read. The frustration of not being able to find actual CHRISTIAN fiction is real! That was a big reason Rose and I began to write as young people: because of the lack.

Does that sound like you? I’m betting it does.

For young adults (aka teenagers)

Here’s the deal guys. We need to fix this. If you can’t find the good story, and you have a passion and love for reading and writing, then write it!

It doesn’t matter if you are still in school, and you haven’t completed your education in English and grammar. You don’t need a major in English to write an amazing story. Don’t put it off. You never know what God will do unless you step out and do the hard thing.

For wives, mothers, and homemakers. (Like us)

You have priorities and responsibilities that weigh on your mind. You have a marriage that is first priority to you. You have children to care for, clean for, cook for.

And if you are like us, you also homeschool them! Because that is also non-negotiable. It's a priority.

And yet you still want to write that story!

Write it!

Join us as we navigate juggling all these hats: marriage, motherhood, homeschooling, housekeeping, and writing! It’s time to get intentional about our time, set our priorities, and get to work! God has given you talents not to bury, but to use!

It can be done! All while keeping your priorities in place.
